You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service and for any purchases you make. The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep your login credentials secure, not to share your account with others, and to maintain only one account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your account.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." During early access, features — including tutors, courses, voice, and the whiteboard — may change, break, or be removed at any time. We do not guarantee uptime or that any data will be preserved.

AniTUTOR offers Free, Student, Scholar, and Honors plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Each plan includes a monthly voice-minute allowance; unused minutes do not roll over to the next month. You may cancel anytime; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices, plan features, and the refund policy are shown before purchase, and we will give you notice before any price change applies to you.

You agree not to:

• use AniTUTOR to cheat on graded work or exams,
• attempt to get the tutors to produce sexual, romantic, hateful, or harmful content,
• harass, threaten, or abuse others,
• copy, scrape, resell, or publicly redistribute our content,
• share or resell account access,
• reverse-engineer or bypass security, usage limits, or voice-minute caps,
• upload content you don't have the right to share,
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

AniTUTOR tutors are strictly educational and never engage in romantic or sexual conversation. Messages that violate these rules are refused and may be reviewed for safety. Repeated violations can lead to suspension or permanent loss of access.

You keep ownership of the notes, syllabi, and materials you upload and the messages you send. You grant us a limited license to store and process them only to operate and improve the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

The Service — including the tutor characters (such as Sayo), artwork, voices, course plans, software, and the AniTUTOR name and logo — is owned by AniTUTOR. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own studying.

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting and accounts, payments (Stripe), voice (ElevenLabs), and AI models. Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers' own terms.

AniTUTOR is an independent study aid for educational purposes only. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board. We do not guarantee any grade, AP exam score, or outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AniTUTOR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.

You agree to hold AniTUTOR harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or end your access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — survive.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may require you to accept the updated Terms. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

• Account information — your email and login identifiers.
• Waitlist and onboarding info — your school level and the courses you're interested in.
• Uploaded materials — notes, syllabi, and teacher or professor materials you upload for Build Your Own Course.
• Tutoring conversations — text transcripts of your sessions with the tutor, and the study guides and quizzes generated for you.
• Voice — your voice is processed live to create a transcript; we do not store voice recordings.
• Usage data — voice minutes used, courses and progress, and settings like your roast preference.
• Payment information — handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Reports and support messages — when you contact us or report a problem.
• Technical data — basic logs and a "last active" timestamp.

• Run the Service and your account,
• Power tutoring, study guides, and quizzes,
• Enforce plan limits like voice minutes,
• Keep users safe and enforce the acceptable-use rules,
• Respond to support requests,
• Improve the Service.

You are talking to an AI, not a human tutor.

AniTUTOR's AI features work by sending the following:

• Live voice tutor — your speech, converted to text, plus the course and current problem context.
• Whiteboard help — the work you write on the whiteboard for the current problem.
• Study guides and quizzes — the course plan and any materials you uploaded for that course.

We do not send your name or email address to our AI providers.

AI output can be wrong, including confident mistakes. Check important answers.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that run the Service, by category: database and accounts, payments (Stripe), voice (ElevenLabs), AI model provider, and web fonts. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.

We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Your information is deleted when you delete your account, except for limited records we are required by law to keep.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and users aged 13–17 need parent or guardian consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. Parents and guardians may request to access or delete a minor's data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also manage some settings directly in your account.

Your data may be processed in the United States, where our providers operate. When we make material changes to this policy, the "Last updated" date above will reflect them.
